Our admission counselors assist prospective students as they navigate through the various steps of the admission process. In addition to facilitating prospective students, our counselors also pay individual visits to numerous Texas high schools and 2-year institutions throughout the year to participate in academic seminars and college day/night programs. We invite you to contact our counselors with any of the questions you may have regarding the admission process at the Island University.

Ms. Nicole Fuentes Serves: Freshmen students from all Texas counties and all states and U.S. territories. Nicole is from San Jose, California and graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. |

Ms. Sara Huerta Serves: Freshmen students from all Texas counties and all states and U.S. territories. Sara is from Mathis, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's degree in History. She is currently working on her Master's degree in Public Administration. |

Dr. Jerilee Milligan Serves: Transfer students from all Texas counties and all states and U.S. territories. Dr. Jerilee Milligan is from Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Del Mar College with her Associate's degree in Liberal Arts. She later went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in English, a Master's degree in Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. |

Ms. Karin Griffith Serves: All international students Karin was born in California and has resided in England, France and Canada. She has two Bachelor degrees; one in Philosophy and another in English. |
