The College of Business is focused on academic excellence and engagement with the business community to impact both student opportunity and economic development in the Coastal Bend. We offer innovative degree options that prepare students for rewarding careers in business. The College also has developed a number of degree features to give students the most rewarding possible experience at TAMU-CC such as attractive scholarships, internships with leading companies, hands-on experiential projects, and low-cost student abroad opportunities in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Degrees from the College of Business come with the added distinction of the school’s accreditation in business and accounting by the AACSB, a recognition achieved by less than one percent of universities in the United States.

The College of Education and Human Development has earned its place as one of the best in the country, providing the hands-on experience, skills and online programs students need to lead in the 21st century. The College has a dual-language laboratory elementary school right on campus and exemplary field-based teacher preparation programs recognized by the National Council on Teacher Quality. The Department of Kinesiology supports groundbreaking research, provides excellence in preparing future exercise science professionals with athletic training skills and features a state-of-the-art athletic and health science facility and award-winning faculty.

The College of Liberal Arts prepares students to meet the challenges of a dynamic, global society. Our award-winning faculty provides learning opportunities to develop knowledge, communication, critical- thinking skills, social understanding and creative experiences needed to succeed in the modern world. We offer hands-on learning beyond the classroom through more than 180 partnerships with local organizations. The mission of the School of Arts, Media & Communication is to develop and promote collaboration, innovation and creation among students and faculty in visual arts, music, theatre, dance, media and communication.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences brings the dynamic world of healthcare to the forefront of education through the delivery of innovative online and on-campus programs. Students experience challenging healthcare situations in safe, state-of-the-art simulated environments while receiving support from expert faculty. Honored by the White House and U.S. News & World Report, our distance learning programs, including the one-of-a-kind eLine Military Program, streamlines the nursing education path for non-traditional students.

College of Science and Engineering

From deep-water assessment to the latest frontier in flight, the College of Science and Engineering is preparing students with studies in computing sciences, engineering, physical, environmental, and life sciences and mathematics. Mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as computer science majors, are finding solutions to dangerous, di cult and expensive problems that will soon be tackled by unmanned systems. Marine scientists are using remotely operated vehicles in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific, identifying new species, maintaining and restoring oyster reefs, and exploring the diversity of aquatic life with genomics. Life science students are exploring beneficial and harmful organisms in clinical and environmental settings. Some students in Fisheries and Mariculture engage in global development through the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program. A new Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences provides students opportunity for research and training in the vital area of weather and climate science. The University is also home to a National Center of Academic Excellence for Information Assurance, nationally certified Clinical Laboratory Science, the premier Geographic Information Sciences (GIS) program in the country, a new Ph.D. in Geospatial Computing, and the Center for Coastal Studies.
